Investment in real estate, land development and infrastructure projects:

The applicant is authorized to continue with a merge of the above finances, on condition the whole investment will value up to at least €2,0 million. Within this limit (consolidation of investments) the applicant could buy specific government contracts of the Republic of Cyprus, up to €500.000, which will be issued by the Public Debt Management Office of the Ministry of Finance, if the investor will keep the contracts for a period of 3 year. The qualification and the requirements of these specific contracts will be certified by the General and Special Issue Terms of the Government Bonds of the Republic of Cyprus. Investments in government bonds through the secondary market are not addresses qualified

Purchase or Establishment or Participation in Cypriot Companies or Businesses

The applicant should have purchased or taken part in companies or organizations founded and operating in the Republic of Cyprus with finance expenses of at least €2,0 million. The invested money shall be utilized in the financing of the investment missions of these companies specially in Cyprus, according to special  investment program. The applications will be estimated to specify that the companies or organizations have shown physical presence in Cyprus, with prominent activity and turnover and recrut at least five (5) Cypriot or citizens of European Union member-states. The minimum number of workers shall boost, if more than one applicant invest at the same time or almost simultaneously in the same business or company. furthermore, the workers of the companies need to have legally and constantly live in Cyprus during the five years before the date of submitting the application .

Investment in Alternative Investment Funds or financial assets of Cypriot companies or Cypriot organizations that are licensed by CySec :

The applicant should have purchased units of at least €2,0 million from optional finance funds (AIF) founded in the Republic of Cyprus, licensed and administered by the CySec and whose money are made specially in the Republic of Cyprus, in investments that meet the terms of this plan or in district confirmed by the Minister of Finance. to approve that the investments that suits the terms of the current plan will be maintained for at least three years, the director or the auditor of the Fund shall notify in writing and on an annual basis, the Ministries of Finance and Interior based on the amount of the primary investment. 3 The buy of financial assets of Cypriot companies or organizations of at least €2,0 million, such as contracts, receipts and safeties, issued with the admission of the CySec, by companies that have proven physical presence and considerable economic activity in the Republic of Cyprus, and have as a intention the financing of the investment schemes of these companies or organizations specially in Cyprus, according to investment plan, fall under this criterion. It is stated the purchase by an AIF of units of other AIFs is not considered qualified.

Combination of the aforementioned investments:

The applicant is authorized to proceed with a combination of the above investments, on condition the total investment will value up to at least €2,0 million. Within this criterion (consolidation of investments) the applicant could buy special government contracts of the Republic of Cyprus, up to €500.000, which will be issued by the Public Debt Management Office of the Ministry of Finance, if that the investor will keep the contracts for a period of  three years. The qualification and the provisions of these exclusive contracts will be certified by the General and Special Issue Terms of the Government Bonds of the Republic of Cyprus. Investments in government bonds by secondary market are not remarked eligible

Application Process

Steps of Cyprus citizenship through investment application

The stages of application for Cyprus citizenship are as follows:

Application Fees

Application fees for a typical family of four are as follows:

€55,000: Advisory fees.

€7,000: Government fees per adult.

€80: Per dependent under 18.

Additional fees apply for dependent parents. Depending on the investment options chosen, additional taxes and duties apply. VAT may be reduced to 5% from the current rate under certain terms and conditions.
